Inspired
by experiences of her own friends
and family as well as the desire to
support good causes in general, Dr.
Debra Pear and Chiropractic West are
active in several charitable organizations:
The Elixir Fund is an organization
dedicated to improving the comfort
and care of cancer patients and their
families by providing information,
resources, ideas, and services for
managing both physical and emotional
healing. Learn

“Elixir
Fund started when my close friend
Kevin McQuarrie died three years
ago from cancer. He was a very special
guy, and he talked to his sister
about starting this organization
before he passed on. Every year
since his passing, I hold a fundraiser
in my office to raise money for
Elixir Fund activities. It’s
really growing and helping a lot
of people have a better experience
while going through chemo.”
